Gift Basket Bazaar Benefits Arnot Ogden Medical Center

Dozens of baskets filled with treats sure to please everyone from foodie to gardener to racing face are featured in a fundraiser that begins Tuesday and benefits Arnot Ogden Medical Center.

The Gift Basket Bazaar, sponsored annually by the Hospital Auxiliary, is open to the public and takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays; 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Petrie Conference Center. Enter the hospital through the front door and go down to the center.

Buy tickets, which are three for $1, at the bazaar and place them in jugs in front of each basket. Winning tickets will be drawn Thursday at 2 p.m.

Decorated gift baskets will appeal to wine, chocolate and food lovers, gardeners, new parents, racing enthusiasts, crafters, gourmet cooks, movie buffs, electronics enthusiasts, those who want a little relaxation and more. Even a household will go home with a lucky winner.

Many gifts are offered by hospital employees and friends of the hospital auxiliary, sponsor of the bazaar.

Those who come to the bazaar on Wednesday can also attend the annual Auxiliary “Tree of Lights” ceremony at 7 p.m. in the lobby of the medical center. Refreshments will be available at the Petrie Conference Center.
