What does the gift bag offered to participants contain?

After the 2022 Oscars ignited social media about a week ago, awards season is still in full swing with the (relatively uneventful) 2022 Grammy Awards kicking off in Las Vegas.

This year’s awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and saw thrilling performances from BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish and more, like The daily show Star Trevor Noah kicked off the event – not to mention mentioning Will Smith’s recent Oscar debacle.

Along with the approximately 86 awards up for grabs at this year’s ceremony, guests – especially nominees and performers – will be able to take home an enviable set of goodies.

What’s in the box?

For twenty-two years, every Grammy goodie bag has been curated, sealed and signed by Distinctive assets – a Los Angeles-based “niche” marketing firm with strong ties to the entertainment industry.

This time, the gifts were distributed at TopGolf Las Vegas, in a free-for-all lounge where guests could choose the gifts however they wished. That said, nominees also received the usual pre-assembled Grammy gift box – filled with over 60 items.

With the event organized by Miage Skin Careit’s no surprise that many of the gift items in the box are skincare related.

For starters, Miage itself offered a five-piece set that includes Bloom La Milpa Lip Treatment, Isotonic Awakened Eye Elixir, Manifest Day Lotion, Clarity Purifying Cleanser, and Invoke Night Cream.

They were followed by luxury premium bubble baths from Bathslut, British M Hair Butter, nail strips from Color Street, and more.

Broadcasters and performers will also receive the Ceek Virtual Reality Headset – that connects to your smartphone to deliver 360 degree high definition immersion – paired with fully adjustable straps and lightweight construction.

They even come with a special app that shows behind-the-scenes content featuring Lady Gaga, Ziggy Marley, Demi Lovato, and more.

The list goes on, including everything from gourmet popcorn from Opopop to squishy toys, glasses and ethically sourced chai — though two items in particular may raise some eyebrows — more literally than you might think.

This year’s guests have the opportunity to receive of them various gift appointments with plastic surgeons. The first is Dr. Thomas Su’s Art Lipo, which offers a “celebrity arm sculpting” procedure, which gives its recipients more toned arms.

The second is Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich’s $10,000 voucher, which gives customers the option of chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, and Botox procedures.
