Sure, there are a ton of generic Easter candy options to fill your basket, but do any of them fancy you? Apparently the folks at Peeps decided their iconic Marshmallow Chicks should be a little more personal.
Just Born Quality Confections, the Pennsylvania-based candy company behind Peeps, Hot Tamales and Mike and Ike, recently launched MyPeeps, which allows customers to create their own chick Peeps to reflect their own favorite flavor combinations.
Thanks to MyPeeps, “mallow lovers start by choosing the color of their Peeps – blue, pink or yellow – before deciding whether to dip each chick in dark, milk or white chocolate. The final (and perhaps hardest) decision is what to top the chocolate with: options include chocolate chips, confetti chips, crushed pretzels, crushed cookies, unlike chips, or walnut toasted coconut. After you complete your order, your custom Peeps will be dipped, dipped, boxed, and shipped right to your door.
“Year after year we’ve seen our fans take the classic Peeps Chicks to the next level by adding their own dips and toppings, which sparked the idea of creating a convenient new way for fans to enjoy our exact Marshmallow candy. to their liking,” Caitlin Servian, Peeps brand manager, said in a statement. “With so many tasty and colorful combinations to choose from, Peeps fanatics can treat themselves – or another Peeps lover – to the ultimate Peeps treat this spring.”

The made-to-order MyPeeps will be available in the supply list and priced at $29.95 (plus shipping) for two boxes of six units. In addition to MyPeeps, the Peeps and Company online store also offers a wide range of Peeps flavors including Chocolate Pudding, Cotton Candy, Fruit Punch, Hot Tamales, Party Cake, Wild Berries sparkles and sour watermelon. There are also Peeps Candy and Peeps Lollipop Rings, and if you’re really in beady-eyed brand crosses, you can pick up a whole crate – 360 chicks – worth Peeps at the Donut Shop cafe.
While squishy chicks have been a spring staple for over seven decades, in recent years Peeps collaborations have been popping up everywhere. Last March saw the launch of a limited edition Peeps x Pepsi flavor, presented in a bright yellow can, and the arrival of Peeps lattes in 7-Eleven stores. There’s also been Peeps cereal, Peeps Oreos, and Peeps-flavored Italian ice cream — in addition to some Peeps-inspired IPAs that aren’t entirely official.
It’s a world full of Peeps, baby. We just live in it.
